I have incorporated Passport Books into my Social Studies curriculum. These books provide students with engaging activities that incorporate technology and learning. I use various websites and tools that students can easily and independently navigate.
This is the recording sheet I use for each project. When a student completes the activity, they get a sticker on their envelope. This paper can be kept full page as shown, or cut in fourths and made into a little passport booklet.
I get my passport books in three-packs at Target's dollar spot. They don't always have this particular style, but anything can be used.

I use this site to create my QR codes for each activity. I like this site because an image can be added to the middle of the code. To learn more about QR codes, click the link below.
I use ToonDoo to create my pages within the passport book. However, any program can be used. (Word, Canva, Google Workspace, Keynote, PowerPoint etc.) Below are the passport tasks. These correlate with my Social Studies curriculum.
iNATIVES In this project, students create their own 'iPad' of Native Americans indigenous to PA. Using text and internet resources, they must create an 'app manual' explaining the cultural contributions of each group.
I saw this idea on Pinterest and adapted it to fit my 4th grade curriculum.
Fallingwater Replicas In this project, students used Minecraft to create replicas of Fallingwater. (See Minecraft Project Tab) They also completed two Fallingwater written activities with this project that correlated with our curriculum.
Henry Hudson Trading Cards In this project, students researched Henry Hudson using the sites to the left. They completed a research form, and illustrated their own version of Henry Hudson. Their research was then transferred to the Trading Card website and the card was generated. (See site below)
